I have enjoyed countless of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
