I have played millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
